My name is Lief Jorgensen, I was born in 1981. I am a freelance designer & artist. I will make the design & print of your next project EASY. I can help you from square one, through to a finished printed product - ANY printed product! (business cards, brochures, car & boat wraps, signage, magazines, murals... I've done them all!)
I have 20 years of graphic design experience, working in the Hervey Bay & Fraser Coast region of Queensland. Over the years I have worked with many local, national and international clients including Buxton Beef & Barley, Elders, Stocklands Hervey Bay, Station Square, Queensland Government, Wide Bay Hospital & Health, Fraser Coast Regional Council, Woolworths, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Ray White, Tyrepower, Quaill Trophies, Westpac and many, many more...
In 2010 I received an national gold award from ASGA (Australian Signs & Graphics Association) for a wrap design on an icecream truck in Alice Springs. Early in my career I won first place at a local art gallery competition (there weren't many entries). Since then my skills have only improved, along with my passion for creating awesome design and working with great people.
I love creating dream-like semi-abstract paintings and drawings using mixed medias, I am also drawn to the unique perfection available in a bold stroke of ink. I enjoy attempting to render the immediate liminal gradient between our material structural reality and our fluid fractal state of dreaming which lays beneath or gives rise to our day-to-day mental life. I hope to provide a structure within my art for your mind to refine, explore or expand upon, perhaps bridging the perceived gap of known and unknown. I love discovering visual paradox and multi-layered translations of unintentional or subconscious visual meaning within my art and attempt to tease this from it's initial chaotic beginning.
I'd love to design your logo, website, car wrap, boat wrap, promotional material or anything you have in mind. Just ask - I can help, from start to finish!
